DIY Project Nursery!

Hi dolls I wanted to share a couple tips in creating the perfect Nursery without the expensive price tag! Instead try to find some items at yard sales & thrift stores with a little elbow grease you can create the perfect looking nursery for half the cost you would have spend purchasing all furniture items at a furniture store or even a store like Baby ‘R’ Us.

Here is a Baby dresser I found at a yard sale for $25, check out how I turned it into a Brand new Tv stand/Dresser for my daughter’s room.

Step 1: Sand down piece of furniture (solid wood or not)

Step 2: Prime (if not solid wood)

Step 3: paint (if not solid wood)

Step 4: Stain & let dry (solid wood or not)

Step 5: Add new knobs(optional, I replaced the knobs with stainless steal ones)

With just a little bit of paint & stain viola! A brand new Dresser/Tv stand that matches perfect for my daughter’s Nursery!

**Prime & paint for furniture that is not wood, if the furniture is solid wood stain is the only thing you need)

End result about $35
