If your like me when it comes to this topic then you are always on the hunt for products and/or “magical” solutions on how to whiten your teeth. I have tried whitening strips, gels and even a uv procedure at the tanning salon ranging in prices from $1-100(+tax) and each time I was disapointed with the results and with how sensitive my teeth would feel after.
After researching how to use baking soda in more than one way I soon found out it could also be used to help remove stains from your teeth & whiten them at the same time. Though doing so does not give you the “instant” results we all continue to search for, within a week or so you definitely will see a difference.
I have been using baking soda to help whiten my teeth; over time I can say I have been more happy with the results it has given me compared to all the other “magical” whitening products out there. I have to say achieving my whiter smile has defintely been worth the wait and has been less expensive than all the other “magical” teeth whitening products out there.
While there are many ways to use baking soda to help whiten your teeth here is what I do & what I believe is the safest for those who have sensitve teeth like mine.
1. Add toothpaste to your toothbrush as you normally would.
2. add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda on top of your toothpaste
3. & lastly brush in circular motions (do this everyday for a week or more, once you see results you can do it once a week if you would like)
What are some of the products you’ve used to help whiten your teeth, were you happy with the results?

Great advice!!
I do this as well, it really is the safest and cheapest way I know of. Even though it’s not instant, it is still rather quick…1-2 weeks isn’t long. It’s better than wasting money on treatments that don’t work well for the money and leave ya in pain! Once every 2 weeks, I switch it up and make a paste out of baking soda and a tiny bit of hydrogen peroxide or lemon juice, not a good taste but it’s an extra boost against staining foods for a heavy Italian food eater like me…or a coffee drinker! I have a post scheduled about it, I think in the 1st week of September. Great post darling, you always share good tips.
I totally agree with you! & I too do that mixing it with peroxide! Thanks for leaving a comment & I can’t wait to read your post
