I’d have to say thank you to not only my mom, but my grandma too. They both gave up so much to keep me safe with them when I was younger. My mom taught me to always stand up for whats right, my grandma taught me responsibilities, and they both would always tell me to love unconditionally. Both we’re there through heartaches and pains, and have supported me no matter what. I wouldn’t be the woman I am today if it wasn’t for them and I can only hope that I will be as good of a mother to my daughter. I love you mom and grandma!

They say water and oil don’t mix, that’s definitely my mother and I when we are being stubborn lol. But I can’t say that I could live without her. She’s more than just a mother to me, she’s been both parents for me (mother and father), she’s the first person I run to when I find myself “trapped,” and she’s my best friend. I can’t thank her enough for being by my side through this new journey for me in being a mother. Not only does she encourage me, she gives me strength when I’m down and she understands exactly what I mean when I’m pissed! Lol.
